International Symposium on Youth Engagement in Cultural Heritage (ISYECH-2026) Successfully Held
The “International Symposium on Youth Engagement in Cultural Heritage (ISYECH-2026)” was successfully held on 16–17 April 2026 in Santiago de Compostela.
The symposium, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU CHERISH Project, brought together young researchers, academics, and professionals to explore the role of youth in cultural heritage preservation and post-disaster contexts.
As a partner institution, Hitit University actively contributed to the event, reinforcing its engagement in international academic collaboration and youth-focused initiatives.
Held in a UNESCO-listed historic city, the symposium addressed key contemporary challenges facing cultural heritage and highlighted the importance of youth participation in building resilient and sustainable heritage practices.
